A local personal trainer who has worked at various area schools was arrested by Oxnard police in connection with the sexual assault of a Moorpark High School student.
Keith Dudley, 41, of Oxnard was identified as the suspect and taken into custody by the city Police Department’s Family Protection Unit on the evening of March 27. The arrest took place at the 400 block of Forest Park Boulevard in Oxnard, California. Dudley is accused of sexually assaulting a 15-year-old Moorpark High School student.
Oxnard Police Department officials have not released any additional details about the alleged student sexual assault, but did note that the incident is currently not being treated as an on-campus crime.
“There is no indication that any of these acts occurred on school grounds or at any school-sanctioned events,” the Oxnard Police Department said.
Law enforcement officials did confirm that personal trainer Keith Dudley has worked for years with students from various high schools across Ventura County.
Dudley was booked on charges of lewd and lascivious acts with a minor at the Ventura County Main jail. The Oxnard personal trainer sexual assault suspect was later released from custody on $20,000 bail.
